AMRA is an all-volunteer Rescue organization for the American Morkshire Terrier, the Yorkshire Terrier and the Maltese dog lover. ARMA volunteers foster and place American Morkshire Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, and Maltese both purebred and mixes found as strays, surrendered by their owners, rescued from a shelter and in some instances from horrible living conditions. They are dedicated to using every means at their disposal to keep these breeds out of shelters and in loving foster homes until ready to be placed in permanent forever homes.
Every foster and permanent forever home is carefully screened and all dogs are vetted, spayed, microchipped and neutered. AMRA volunteers are available to resolve any concerns or problems that may arise after adoption. Because the American Morkshire Rescue Association rely "solely" on donations, funding and executive support is always needed in order to sustain the Association and our vision "For all animals to live a life free from suffering and cruelty".
